We live in a multicultural society; therefore, an inclusive CASA/GAL network should also be multicultural. As a diverse organization, the CASA/GAL network can better represent and advocate for the children served and have a far greater impact on abused and neglected children in
the child welfare system.

National Indian Child Welfare Association
The National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA) is a national voice for American Indian children and families. NICWA is the most comprehensive source of information on American Indian child welfare and the only national American Indian organization focused specifically on the tribal capacity to prevent child abuse and neglect.
